In this episode we travel to Uganda, the pearl of Africa. Parkinson's disease affects people from every country and climate and it shows no regard for the worldly wealth or honors of those it affects.
That notwithstanding the impacts on quality of life, for the poor, those living in rural areas and those who face social stigma as a result of them having a disease... well for those folks it's just plain harder.
While at the WPC in Barcelona I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Kabugo Hannington and upon hearing his story immediately asked him to come on the show to share his story with our listeners.
